About anzssa-spirituality	English (USA)
Purpose The purpose of the group is to provide opportunities for members of ANZSSA to explore issues of religion and spirituality as they relate to students and staff in university and TAFE. Aims The interest group aims to: * Increase understanding of the role religion and spirituality plays in the life of people and the possibilities for increasing religious and spiritual life in the academy. * Identify & explore the contours of an Australian Spirituality * Explore approaches to contemplative Spirituality; an open-ended experiential exploration of the divine * Provide a forum for critical thought and discussion relevant to group * Enable group members across university and TAFE to network with each other * Encourage collaborative educational activities that further the aims of the group in higher education. * Provide professional development activities for all ANZSSA members This group may be of interest to members who… * Would like to see more discussion in university about the bigger issues of life and death * Teach in the area * Would like to explore informal discussion groups * Students and staff getting together around topics of spirituality * are Chaplains * encourage multi-faith experiences * collaborate on research and scholarly writing around the areas of interest To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the anzssa-spirituality Archives. Using anzssa-spirituality
To post a message to all the list members, send email to anzssa-spirituality@lists.cqu.edu.au. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to anzssa-spirituality
Subscribe to anzssa-spirituality by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
