About anzssa-atsi	English (USA)
Purpose The purpose of the group is to provide opportunities for members of ANZSSA, (whether or not they identify as an Aborigine, Torres Strait Islander or both) to explore A&TSI issues as they relate to students and staff in university and TAFE. Aims The ATSIIG interest group aims to: * Increase understanding of A&TSI student and staff issues and needs * Provide a forum for critical thought and discussion relevant to group * Provide collaborative educational activities that further the interests of A&TSI participation and retention in higher education. * Provide professional development activities for ANZSSA members on A&TSI issues * Enable A&TSI group members across university and TAFE to network with each other This group may be of interest to members who: * Promote reconciliation in the university and TAFE sectors * Work in an A&TSI Centre in TAFE / university or employed in Student Services with responsibility towards A&TSI students or issues (eg employment) with a view to encouraging more dialogue across sectors * Would like to see more discussion on A&TSI issues in the university or TAFE * See the need for more complementary activities servicing A&TSI students. * Teach in the area * Would like to explore informal discussion groups * Students and staff getting together around topics of spirituality * Collaborate on research and scholarly writing around the areas of interest To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the anzssa-atsi Archives. Using anzssa-atsi
To post a message to all the list members, send email to anzssa-atsi@lists.cqu.edu.au. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to anzssa-atsi
Subscribe to anzssa-atsi by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
